This amazing Chalk Gray 356 Speedster was completed just 7 months ago. It was a special order from a great guy in Ohio who checked off almost every box on the build. We shipped the car to him in August 2025 and he was thrilled with it, and could not believe the attention it got at several shows he took it to. In fact it won best of show in the Porsche category with over 30 actual Porsche cars and a total of 500 cars. He even got to give his 98 yr old mom a thrilling ride in it. Over the winter his wife convinced him that they should have a newer 911 in automatic so she could drive it too. He struggled with the decision but decided they could only have one toy and they would let another lucky individual enjoy their gorgeous build….maybe you!? It has just 220 miles and is in like new condition. It is now available for immediate delivery without the long wait on a new build.

These cars are built on custom shortened, reconditioned VW chassis with a reinforced steel sub frame. The hand laid fiberglass body is top quality and workmanship is second to none. Building Porsche Replicas since 1995 the builders motto is “Quality over quantity” and I can attest to the high level of quality he is producing. This particular build was done in a color called Chalk which is a newer Porsche color that looks truly vintage. It is absolutely stunning. The fit and finish most likely exceeds the original. The combination of the black powder coated Vintage 190 wheels with the polished drum skin covers, the GT Louvered engine lid and the fender mounted Spyder side view mirror give this Speedster an extra sporty look. The beehive taillights are a 1956 and early 1957 styling cue. As you will see, this one is also equipped with driving lights and mesh headlight grilles. The body is adorned with Porsche badging on the nose, rear and dash. With just under 220 miles the paint and body are basically flawless. This one was also ordered with the optional full tonneau cover. I always recommend driving these cars top down but of course it also has a brand new black canvas soft top. Window inserts are also provided and a matching boot cover when the top is down for a clean, sophisticated look.
Complementing the awesome chalk gray exterior is an equally stunning Medium Red Leather interior with Double Diamond Stitch on the seats and lower door panels.. The Speedster seats are very comfortable. Door panels are beautifully customized with closing document pockets and polished door pulls. Great German Square weave carpeting adorns throughout and really provides a great contrast to the Medium Red leather. Matching dash pad and passenger side grab handle. Parking brake mounted under the dash much like the originals adding more authenticity to the build. Period correct VDO gauges with a GPS Speedometer and digital odometer allow the driver to monitor the speed and performance of this air cooled Speedster. Beautiful Wood Grain steering wheel with a Porsche horn button and vintage style turn signal lever adds to the authenticity. This 356 is also optioned with the traditional heater boxes as well as defroster. You will notice the knob on the shifter tunnel that opens up the heater boxes and the sling vents that open along the rocker rails. Porsche dash emblem and commemorative badge neatly mounted. Vintage Speed Shifter for a crisp, short throw pattern for your driving pleasure. Shelf pad behind the front seats. Custom set of Coco mats have been added for that finishing touch. Simply gorgeous interior!!!
Turn the key and let the fun begin!!! As impressed as I was with the cosmetic improvements on these new builds I am equally impressed with the performance these new cars offer. With just under 220 miles this Speedster runs and drives like new. The 2332 cc. is a brand new, fully balanced motor with top quality components from CB Performance built by Pat Downs Performance. Rated at 125 hp with the dual Kadron carburetors and 8.2:1 compression ratio this motor pulls strong and crisp. I would be happy to provide more technical data on the engine build for those who need it. Transmission is a 3.44 ring and pinion freeway flyer type. This combination provides excellent torque and acceleration in 1st-3rd and also allows easy highway cruising at 75 mph. This build also has the optional Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) Empi 5 lug 5x205mm 4 wheel disc brakes stop this Speedster precisely with ease. Other features include electronic ignition, stock dog house oil cooler and remote 72pass oil cooler with electric fan thermostatically controlled,. Check out the Vintage 190 Aluminum 5 lug wheels that were powder coated black with polished drum skin covers and wrapped in upgraded Pirelli P4 rubber. Great vintage tone from the dual tip exhaust. The undercarriage is also nicely detailed and floorpan protected with a bed liner material to ensure it lasts the test of time. Make sure you watch the video to hear this car start up and running.
