We are offering this spectacular ’71 Corvette on behalf of a truly awesome car collector who unfortunately is dealing with health issues that have caused him to thin out his collection of cars. We have sold several of his cars over the years and can tell you that he has a very good eye for rare, quality classics and takes great care of the cars in his collection. He acquired this Corvette last year and could simply not resist it due to its documented ownership history, verified ultra low miles and rare combination. The car is in my showroom and I have all the documentation and history and will do my best to provide you with an honest description, extensive photos of the car and documentation and a walk around video so you can see and hear the car running.

Documentation shows the ownership and mileage history extremely well. Originally purchased by a NJ man in D&C Chevrolet in Tenafly, NJ. The original owner was a wealthy man and had his nephew, a TWA pilot, pick the car up. Evidently the original owner was not comfortable driving the 4-speed and told his nephew he could drive the car on the weekends which happened relatively infrequently during the original owners 18 years of ownership. Early on, the car was keyed by some kids in a parking lot causing the rear deck area to have some paintwork done. Sold in 1989 with 7500 miles on it to a young guy who realized he could not afford the insurance, it then changed hands months later to another gentleman with 8013 miles on it who owned the car for about 5 years selling it in 1995. During his ownership only 114 miles were put on and it received an impressive NCRS Top Flight award in August of 1992. The next owner kept the car for 6 years selling it with 10,400 miles on it to someone in Florida. It changed hands a few times while in Florida. It was featured in the April 2006 AACA magazine noted to have 11,985 miles on it. In June ,2007 it became part of a collection called the Stingray Survivor Collection which was a group of very special 4-speed C3 Big Block Corvettes. While part of that collection it won an award of distinction in 2009 at a Concours d’Elegance and then in 2024 garnered a well deserved Top Flight NCRS certification scoring 95.1/100. This is a truly stand out example that will continue to increase in value and collectibility due to its low mileage, highly documented history and, original condition.
Other than the early paintwork that was done on the rear deck lid it is believed to be wearing most of its original Mille Millie Red paint that still looks outstanding. Of course it has some expected patina under close inspection with some minor lacquer checking in spots. But overall, as evidenced by the highly coveted NCRS Top Flight award just last year, this is a very high quality example of a survivor C3 and you will be proud to drive and show it off. I will include the judging sheets in the documentation below. Here is a walk around tour of the body so you can see just how amazing it still looks.

Complimenting the gorgeous Mille Miglia exterior is an equally impressive original Black Comfortweave interior. Everything looks amazing from the door panels, to the dash, carpeting, gauges and center console. This is a true time capsule and also includes the very rare Factory 4-season Air Conditioning. Fiber optics all appear to be working correctly. Overall as you will see in the pics below, the interior is in amazing original condition.

Documentation galore from original window sticker, sales order, Protect-o-plate, hand written notes form owners, NCRS Top Flight awards, service history, magazine articles, tank sticker, copies of titles showing documented mileage and more!!!!
